About Misbah Shajjan
Misbah Shajjan is a paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario (licence number P20257). He founded Shajjan Paralegal Services in North York in 2024, after providing legal services and representation internationally since 2019.
We work in English, Farsi, Hindi, Urdu and Pashto, so you can explain your situation in the language you think in. Documents, hearings and court filings are in English, and we walk you through each one in yours.
The practice focuses on five areas, in this order: Small Claims Court, Landlord and Tenant Board, Traffic Tickets and Provincial Offences, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths. These are the places where people without a lawyer most often lose a case they should have won, because of a missed deadline, the wrong form or evidence that was never organised.
Every file is handled by Misbah Shajjan personally, from the first call to the hearing. Fees are flat and published, and every client gets a written retainer that sets out the fee and what it covers.
Licensed paralegals in Ontario may represent clients in Small Claims Court, before tribunals such as the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and in provincial offences matters. We do not handle family law, real estate, wills or criminal charges, and we will refer you to a lawyer when your matter needs one.
